Angelina R. Byron, age 87, of Shelton peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday April 14, 2025 at Sunrise of Fairfield.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas H. Byron. She was born in Bridgeport on January 27, 1938 the daughter of the late Victor and Ida (Granata) Mariotti.
Mrs. Byron worked as a secretary for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed going to the Shelton Senior Center for lunches and activities with her friends, playing Bingo and Pinoccle, as well as taking trips to the casino.
She is survived by her daughter Maureen Byron and her son James J. Byron and his wife Carol, her grandchildren Jeffrey and Stacy Byron, and her granddog Louie. She was predeceased by her son Thomas P. Byron and her brother Victor Mariotti, Jr. Mrs. Byron’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of RIverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton.
