Ann Marie DeGregoria Bagley, age 73, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2022, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Ann Marie was born in Derby on August 1, 1948, daughter of the late Dominic and Rose Cammarata DeGregoria. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, Ann Marie was employed in the medical records department for Birmingham Group Health Services in Ansonia for thirty-six years, until her retirement. She had a passion for her clients and their well-being even after retirement. Ann was an avid supporter of War Veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project. Three times a year, she would place decorations on two Veterans graves that were unattended. Ann had a true love of animals with a special affinity for Yorkshire Terriers. She regularly donated to animal rescue foundations. Ann loved shopping for gifts for her friends and family, for any occasion, especially Christmas. One of her favorite sayings was “I couldn’t resist.” Ann cared deeply for everyone and was giving of her time, always knowing just what to say to help. She also enjoyed reading, especially Readers Digest and James Patterson Novels.
Ann Marie leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Raymond G. Bagley Jr. of Ansonia, grandson, Raymond G. Bagley III of Naugatuck, a brother, Ronald DeGregoria of Ansonia, nieces, Angela DeGregoria of Ansonia and Tracey Foster of West Haven, and a loving aunt, Michalena Sampieri of Ansonia, along with many other beloved family members and friends.
Due to the pandemic, Ann Marie’s funeral service and burial will take place in private. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements. A memorial celebration in memory of Ann Marie’s life will take place at a later date and will be announced by her family.
