Ann Marie Jennings, 67, of Ansonia, suddenly entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2013. She was the beloved and devoted wife for 47 years to Owen D. Jennings Sr., whom she loved very much.
Mrs. Jennings was born in Derby on April 15, 1946, daughter of the late Josephine Satkowski Kwiatkowski. A resident of Ansonia for many years, she was previously employed as a lunch aid at the former Peck School and also at Lear Pharmacy in Ansonia. Later, she worked at the former Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream in Derby. As her son and daughter were growing up, she welcomed any neighborhood children to her home.
In addition to her husband Owen, she is survived by a loving son, Owen D. Jennings Jr., a loving daughter, Michelle Moscato and her husband Dominic, all of Ansonia, two cherished grandchildren, Jessica and Tyler Moscato of Ansonia, two sisters, Geraldine Jeanette (Pat) of Shelton and Sharon Gesner (John) of Orange, a step-brother, Rev. Robert Kwiatkowski of Woodbury, a step-sister, Joanne Winters of Milford and several nieces and nephews.
Per Ann Marie’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
