Anna Chupick, age 91, of Stratford entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 14, 2018 in her home.
Anna was born in Shelton on December 20, 1926, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Chupick, and grew up in Shelton before moving to Monroe.
She later moved to Stratford where she resided for the past 40 years.
She worked as a Secretary in the Engineering Department at Sikorsky Aircraft for many years.
Anna greatly enjoyed ballroom dancing and loved rescuing and caring for animals.
She is survived by her niece, Joanne Rose Grailich and her husband Donald, and great niece and nephew, Destiny and Joseph Grailich.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Chupick and sister Rose Goodman, and by her close friend and dance partner of sixteen years, Ted Huminski.
She also leaves her beloved toy poodle Princess and cats, Pumpkin and Onyx.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church, 500 Wigwam Ln, Stratford.
Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
