Anna Cirkot Dubrava, age 94 of Shelton, wife of the late Joseph F. Dubrava, passed away September 19, 2013 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.
Anna was born in Ansonia, November 25, 1918, daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Paskoe) Cirkot.
Anna worked as an assembler at Sikorsky Aircraft for many years until her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church of Huntington since its opening in 1955.
She is survived by sons, Thomas Dubrava of Bellbrook, Ohio and Larry Dubrava of Shelton; a daughter, Marian Kiekel of Hamden; a sister, Tessy Ribas of Shelton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Joan Dubrava and her brother John Cirkot.
Friends and relatives are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Huntington for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday September 23rd at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery, Derby. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gardner Heights Health Care Center, 172 Rocky Rest Road, Shelton, CT 06484.
