Anna Giovanna “Jenny” Pasqualucci-Macchiaroli, 97, a resident of Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 4, 2010, at the Griffin Hospital in Derby, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph Macchiaroli.
Mrs. Macchiaroli was born July 14, 1913 in Indiana, later moving to Abruzzo, Italy, where she lived for forty years until moving back to the United States.
She is survived by her son, John Pasqualucci and his wife Anna of Seymour, grandchildren, Rita Mammano and her husband Joseph of Derby, Bruno Pasqualucci and his wife Joanne of Beacon Falls, Joseph Pasqualucci of Southbury, and Michael Pasqualucci of Seymour, eight great-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Alfredo, Emilio, and Vincenzo.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday September 9, 2010, at 9:15am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road in Seymour. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Garden Mausoleum in Derby. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 7 pm.
