Anna Gisela Milkowski

Anna Gisela Milkowski, age 97, of Shelton, formerly of Ansonia, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025 at Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shelton. 

She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Casimer S. Milkowski.Born in Salzburg, Austria on April 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Franz and Paula Halbmeyer. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and winning jewelry, which she wore daily to match her outfits. 

She also loved cooking and baking for her family on Sunday get togethers.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory, three loving daughters, Barbara Harris and her husband Orrin of Naples, Florida, Christine Goodrich and her husband Kenneth of Southbury and Patricia Balis and her husband Alexander of Shelton, five grandchildren, Christopher Goodrich and his wife Becky of Southbury, Patrick Goodrich and his wife Jessie of Alaska, Sara Stephens and her husband Jason of Florida, Ryan Harris and his wife Tavia of Wallingford and Christy Rudler and her husband Stephen of Shelton, six great-grandchildren, Jody Goodrich, Haley Goodrich, Quinn Goodrich, Alexandria Rudler, Aubree Rudler and Loghan Harris, best friend, Joyce Rosa and a nephew, Peter Wanker and his wife Maria and their family all of Austria. 

She was predeceased by her sister, Lisi Wanker of Austria.Our memories of Anna are timeless and she will live in our hearts forever. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center and a special thank you to her past Doctors, Dr. Hyde, and Dr. Gowda, who she thought the world of.Anna funeral service and interment in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby will be private.
