Anna M. Dempkowski, 96, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday evening January 11, 2015, at Birmingham Health Care Center in Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Dempkowski.
Mrs. Dempkowski was born in Stratford on April 18, 1918, daughter of the late Emil and Susan Saksa Hovanec. Anna enjoyed crocheting and crafting.
She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter, Elaine D. Mortensen and her husband Drew of Ansonia and a cherished grandson, Andy Mortensen and his wife Dr. Melissa Moore of Milford.
Per Anna’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
