Anna Pasqualucci, 80, a resident of Seymour since 1974, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 29, 2016, at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of John Pasqualucci.
Mrs. Pasqualucci was born in Casentino, L’Aquila, Abruzzi, Italy on June 29, 1935, daughter of the late Giovanni and Giovanna DiNatale DiClemente. In her earlier years, Anna was employed as a seamstress at the former Slim Fit Dress Co. in Shelton. Anna had great love for her family and was dedicated to making sure they were well taken care of. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Seymour.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by a daughter, Rita Mammano (Joseph Sr.) of Derby, sons, Bruno Pasqualucci (Joanne) of Beacon Falls, Joseph Pasqualucci (Jacqueline) of Southbury and Michael Pasqualucci of Blythewood, SC, sisters, Pierina Bianchi of Italy, Domenica Sarracco (Anthony) of Brentwood, NY and Dina Coscia of Ansonia, cherished grandchildren, Thomas Pasqualucci, David Pasqualucci (fiancée Jessica Basher), Bryan Pasqualucci, Gabriel Pasqualucci, Juliana Pasqualucci, Isabella Pasqualucci, Joseph Mammano Jr., Nicholas Mammano, Thomas Nelson and Matthew Barchi, great-grandson, Theodore Pasqualucci and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday May 2, 2016, from 4 – 7 PM in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday, her funeral will take place at 9:15 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road in Seymour. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Mausoleum in Derby.
