Anne “Cookie” Pczonka, age 78, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2019, at Hewitt Health & Rehab in Shelton.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Pczonka.
Mrs. Pczonka was born in Derby on August 4, 1940, daughter of the late Orazio and Lena Pucci DiGiovanni.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, Frank Pczonka of Ansonia, loving daughters, Jo-Anne Billing of Ansonia, Maureen Graf (Val) of PA, Linda Megura (Daniel) of Waterbury, Laura Pczonka of Ansonia, Frances Jesulaitis (Eric) of Ansonia and Christine Pczonka (Mark) of Shelton, brothers, Ernest DiGiovanni (Brenda) of Waterbury and Robert DiGiovanni of OK, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Salvatore DiGiovanni.
A private funeral service will be held followed by burial alongside her husband in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby. There will be no visiting hours.
