Anne LaBonte Fleck, age 77, of Shelton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital.
She was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Fleck. Anne was born in Fall River, MA on November 1, 1935, daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Monast) Levesque, and lived in Shelton for over 50 years.
She worked at Bridgeport Hospital as a Tumor Registrar for over 20 years prior to her retirement, and she previously worked at Griffin Hospital. Anne loved to travel and was a member of the Bridgeport Hospital Travel Club. She was also a member of the Shelton Senior Center, where she reigned as the Wii bowling champion. Above all, Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she loved to cook for her family during the holidays.
She is the beloved mother of Susan DeAngelis and her husband John, Raymond LaBonte and his wife Kim, Diane Luth and her husband Mark, Michael LaBonte, and Anne Margaret DiMiero and her husband Brad. She also leaves ten cherished grandchildren, Brian, Danielle, Ben, Christopher, Emily, David, Melissa, Jeff, Jake, and Annalisese, and one great grandaughter, Kassie. She was predeceased by a grandson, Mark.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM. Her funeral service will begin in the funeral home Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peters Cemetery in Derby.
