Anne M. Hylwa Danielczuk, 90, wife of the late Richard Danielczuk, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on early Saturday morning Aug. 8, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital.
Mrs. Danielczuk was born in Ansonia on Feb. 14, 1919 daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia Markowicz Hylwa. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was employed as a nurses aide at the former Laurel Heights Hospital in Shelton for many years. She was a communicant of the St. Joseph’s Church in Ansonia and especially enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.
She is survived by a sister Mary German of Stratford and numerous nieces and nephews, especially David and Betty Montefusco of Beacon Falls, who gave special care and attention to Anne during her later years. She was predeceased by brothers Peter, Paul, Stephen, John, and William Hylwa and sisters Helen Golod and Elsie Montefusco.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday August 12, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph’s Church in Ansonia.
Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church through the funeral home.
