Anne M. (Martin) Cruite, age 98, entered eternal rest on January 22, 2024, at Elim Park in Cheshire. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Cruite.
Anne was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 5, 1925, daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Cairns) Martin. She immigrated from Scotland to the United States in 1946. She resided in the Valley most of her life before settling in Bethany for seventeen years and then moving to Elim Park. Anne was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family, including our many pets. We fondly remember our mom as someone who loved to laugh and have fun with her family, friends, and many acquaintances. She was a member of the Bethany Senior Center for many years. Anne enjoyed traveling, duck pin bowling, and line dancing. Her hobbies included daily walks, reading, crocheting, and knitting.
Anne leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Thomas C. Cruite (Ina) of Weare, NH, daughters, Catherine C. DiGiorgi (Nicholas) of Bethany, Elaine M. Cruite of Shelton, and Suzanne M.
