Annmarie (Poppa) Jordon, age 76, of Derby entered into rest on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was the devoted wife of the late Philip Jordon, Sr. Annmarie was born in Bridgeport on September 6, 1945, daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence (Kiley) Poppa and was a Shelton resident for most of her life.
She cherished spending time with her family and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Annmarie was the beloved mother of Philip Jordon, Robert Jordon, Jackie Jordon and Dawn Jordon, loving grandmother of Kayla Gonzalez, Kristina Gonzalez-Martin and her husband Sean, Jorge Gonzalez, Eric Griffin, Christopher Goldspink, Sarah Jordon, Ryan Jordon and Emma Jordon and great grandmother of Isabella Gonzalez. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Annmarie was predeceased by four brothers, Francis Poppa, Leonard Poppa, Lawrence Poppa and James Poppa and a sister Theresa Kalagian.
Her funeral services are private.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby has been entrusted with her arrangements.
