Anthony “Duke” Teodosio, age 82, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2025 with his loving family by his side.
He was the husband of 64 years to Beverly (Chevarella) Teodosio. He was born in Derby, October 23, 1942 son of the late Anthony and Louise Teodosio, and was a life long Derby resident.
He was an avid outdoorsman and a proud owner of Buckhorn Lodge, Thorndike, ME where he would spend fall time hunting and enjoying with his many friends. He always enjoyed his annual Buckhorn Lodge Game Dinners where he spent many hours preparing for one of his favorite nights. He was a member of Lafayette Club, St. Sebastian’s Mens Club and most recently enjoyed his card games with the members of AM Club.
Besides his wife he leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Lynnette Esposito and husband, Michael. His grandson Joseph Teodosio, Jr., his great-granddaughter Josie Teodosio, whom he adored. His brother Attorney Francis Teodosio and wife Lisa. His daughter-in-law Joanne Teodosio and fur granddaughter Daisy. Special in-laws Joseph and; Carolyn Kross. Lots of nieces and nephews who he enjoyed spending time with at family parties. He was the honorary “grandpa” to Paisley & Nash Esposito and Mia Civitella.
He was predeceased by his son Joseph Teodosio, who greeted him with open arms and his in-laws Joseph and Theresa Chevarella.
Friends may greet his family on Monday April 21, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. His funeral will leave the funeral home on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at 9:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary Church, Derby. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
