Anthony Fernandez Jr., age 39, of Derby, entered into rest on Sunday April 28, 2013. He was the beloved husband of six years to Stephanie Samokar Fernandez.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 3, 1974, son of Anthony Fernandez and Nancy Mantia Simione and became a Connecticut resident 15 years ago.
Anthony was a marketing manager with Grand Dental for several years. He loved music and his family.
He is the devoted father of Brooklyn James Fernandez and Brianna Marie Fernandez and the son-in-law of Marianne Samokar and Stanley Samokar, III.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Friends and Family are invited to go directly to St. Mary Church on Monday at 11 a.m. for A Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
