Anthony J. Amaro III, age 40, a resident of Ansonia since 2002, entered eternal rest on July 23, 2024, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Anthony was born in Derby on December 20, 1983, beloved son of Marilyn R. Wirth Amaro of Ansonia and the late Anthony J. Amaro Jr.
He grew up in Oxford and was a graduate of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia in 2002. Tony was employed as a salesman for Frito-Lay in Waterbury.
His hobbies included collecting Hot Wheels and vacationing in Lake George, NY.
Tony loved taking long drives, especially in his 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat which he was very proud to own.
He will be lovingly missed. In addition to his mother Marilyn, Tony leaves to cherish his memory, a sister, Denise Sauvé (Adam) of Thomaston, his beloved girlfriend, close family friends, Edward, and Patsy Jones of NC, along with many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his canine nephew, Peterman.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Wednesday July 31, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Burial will be private.
