Antoinette Casini, 89, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2016, at Shady Knoll Health Care in Seymour. She was the beloved wife of the late Zeno J. Casini.
Mrs. Casini was born in Ansonia on Nov. 19, 1926, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Naples Passafiume. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church and a member of its Rosary Guild. She was also a member of the Ansonia Senior Center.
She is survived by loving sons, Joseph Casini (Lynn) of Ansonia and Robert Casini (Lisa) of Seymour, a loving daughter, Suzanne Casini of Ansonia, a sister, Faye Facchini (Armando) of Seymour, cherished grandchildren, Jason Casini (Aimee), Michael Casini (Rachael) and Matthew Casini (Jessica), granddaughter in law, Megan Garner, great grandchildren, Noah, Emily, Sophia and Brendan Casini and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Rob Casini and sisters, Angelina Flaminio, Anna Marie Howe and Bessie Weiss.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday May 15, 2016, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, her funeral will commence at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Antoinette’s memory may be made to the Shady Knoll Recreation Fund through the funeral home.
