Antoni Brejwo, 92, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2014, at Birmingham Health Center in Derby. He was the beloved husband of the late Helena Bujko Brejwo.
Mr. Brejwo was born in Poland on April 28, 1922, son of the late Konstanty and Elzbieta Misiewicz Brejwo. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Ansonia.
He is survived by two sons, Romuald “Ray” Brejwo and his wife Maria of Ansonia and Kazimierz “Casey” Brejwo and his wife JoAnn of Derby, a daughter, Krystyna Day and her husband Douglas of Seymour, six grandchildren, Antoni, Conrad, Marysia, Casey, Jennifer and James, four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel, Aiden and Addison and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2014, from 5 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Thursday, his funeral will be held at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, Ansonia. Interment will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby.
