Antonio Dellacasa, age 88 and resident of Shelton, entered into eternal life on Nov. 20, 2009 to be with his beloved wife Rina Valzania Dellacasa.
He was born Jan. 17, 1921 in Genoa, Italy, son of the late Giacomo & Gemma Dellacasa.
A parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton, Antonio worked as a dental technician for Mt. Vernon Dental Lab.
He was an avid fisherman and attended the former Shelton Lakes Senior Day Care Center.
He is survived by his daughter Claudia Improta and her husband Alex of Shelton, two grandchildren, Allison Calvert and her husband Richard of Derby and Marc Improta of Shelton, and great grand son Noah Calvert of Derby.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 9:00 a.m., with friends asked to go directly to St. Margaret Mary Church, 380 Long Hill Ave., Shelton.
Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society through the funeral home. There are no calling hours. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, (jenkinskingfh.com) 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements.
