Arthur H. Ayr Jr., age 76, entered peaceful rest on December 31, 2022, at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Michele Moffa Ayr.
Arthur was born in Derby on March 6, 1946, son of the late Arthur H. Ayr Sr. and Dorothy Seabury Ayr. He grew up in Buffalo, New York and resided in Ansonia since 1982. Arthur was employed as regional sales manager for Menasha Corp., corporately based in Wisconsin. He was a member of the Shelton Senior Center and enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Arthur H. Ayr III and his wife Michelle L. Ayr of Monroe and Philip A. Ayr of Derby, granddaughters, Angelina Albina Ayr, and Lily Rose Ayr of Monroe.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Tuesday January 10, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 11:00 am, a funeral service in celebration of Arthur’s life will take place with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
