Barbara Cesaroni, age 76, formerly of Derby, entered into rest on Friday, July 30, 2021 at her home in Florida.
She was born in Derby on June 5, 1945 daughter of the late John and Brenda (Rovinelli) Cesaroni.
She was a Derby resident for most of her life before moving to Shelton. After her retirement, she moved to Florida where she resided. Barbara began her career as an English Teacher at the Shelton Intermediate School before becoming the Language Arts Director at the Shelton Public School System. Later, she was the principal at Lafayette School for many years until her retirement.
She was survived by several cousins.
On Monday, friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 am for her Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at St. Lawrence Church. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Family and friends are required to wear masks.
