Barbara (Piampiano) Dube

Barbara (Piampiano) Dube, 69, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 13, 2013, at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital, with her
loving son and daughter –in-law by her side.

Barbara was born in Derby on May 11, 1943, daughter of the late Anthony F. and Josephine Dobrosky Piampiano. 

A resident of Ansonia for most of her life, she was employed as a claims manager at S.N.E.T. in New Haven for over 25 years until her retirement in 2000.

Following her retirement, one of Barbara’s greatest joys was spending time with her cherished granddaughters.

She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Dube and his wife Sandy of Cheshire, two brothers, Richard A. Piampiano of Ashland, Oregon and John S. Piampiano and his wife Candy of Derby, two granddaughters, Natalie and Vanessa Dube, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours for Barbara will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2013, from 5 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On
Thursday, friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral at 10:00 am (MEET DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial.
