Barbara Sweet, wife of the late Robert Sweet and resident of Ansonia, passed away Jan 1. She was born Aug. 14, 1940 in Derby, daughter of the late William and Mildred Walsh Anderson. She began her banking career with the former Union Trust Bank, which continued with the former Savings Bank of Ansonia. She was an active member of The Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia.
She was most of all a very family oriented person. She leaves her daughters Debra Morisseau (Donald) of Milton, VT. and Patricia Kiley (Timothy) of Ansonia, sister Susan Dargiewicz (Robert) of Derby, cousin and sister-in-law Joan Sweet, grandchildren Ryan, Colleen, Kelly & Cara, great granddaughters Raelyn & Aurora, as well as a host of cousins, nieces & nephews.
Friends can call on Friday Jan. 6, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from The Christ Episcopal Church of Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. (www.jenkinskingfh.com
