Beatrice (Perry) Dawley, 81, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2014, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Rayfield Dawley.
Mrs. Dawley was born in Neptune, NJ on February 18, 1933, daughter of the late James Boyd and Vera Ann Elizabeth Stokes Perry. A resident of Ansonia since 1972, she was employed in the clerical dept. at the former Lewis Engineering in Naugatuck until her retirement. Beatrice enjoyed playing the piano and loved to watch tennis and QVC.
She is survived by three loving sons, Isaac Jeffers of E. Hampton and wife Debbie, Mark Jeffers of Bristol and Sevron Dawley of Ansonia, a loving daughter, Olivia Jeffers of Wethersfield and significant other Herb Virgo, a brother, James E. Perry of S. Windsor, two sisters, Francis Murphy and Linda Nelson both of Hartford, 11 grandchildren, one being her special Brian, 10 great-grandchildren, one being her special Brian Jewels and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Leon Perry and sisters, Sylvia Dixon and Dora Lee Swanson.
Visiting will take place on Wednesday May 7, 2014, from 6 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Beatrice’s life will take place with Pastor Jim Wegner officiating. Interment will be private.
