Benjamin Pistor

Benjamin Pistor, age 30, of Jensen Beach, FL after a long fight with addiction, entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL with his loving family by his side. 

He was born in New Haven on June 25, 1990 son of Laurie Weitzer Gnolfo and Stepfather Tony Gnolfo, and Father and Stepmother John and Vicki Pistor. 

Benjamin was a graduate of Shelton High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, fisherman, and had a passion for cooking. Ben had a big heart and was generous to anyone who needed help. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the loving brother of Jacob Pistor and his fiancé Jenna, Stepbrother of Anthony Gnolfo and his wife Debbie, and Christine Fonseca and her husband Paul. 

Ben was also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog Melo. 

Benjamin was predeceased by his Stepfather Tony, grandparents, Abbot and Sylvia Weitzer and John and Marguerite Pistor. Friends are invited to his graveside service on Monday at 11:00 am at Riverside Cemetery, 308 River Rd., Shelton. Everyone is required to wear masks and social distance for the service. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton was entrusted with his arrangements. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com.
