Betty A. Benis, 85, of Reno, NV, formerly of Ansonia, entered into rest on Sunday, April 17, 2023 . She was the devoted wife of the late Allan M. Benis, who passed on September 8, 2022.
Mrs. Benis was born in Shelton, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Mikulak) Daiuto, and graduated from Shelton High School. She was a long time resident of Ansonia before moving to Reno. She was employed for many years at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford and Muzak Corporation in Milford.
She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy H. Fedorowicz. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Amanda Nagy, and her husband, Edward, of Grand Forks, ND.
