Betty Ann Auscavitch, 60

Betty Ann Auscavitch, 60, of Derby, a former longtime resident of Southbury, entered into rest on August 20, 2011, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Auscavitch. 

Betty Ann was born in Derby on Jan. 2, 1951, daughter of the late William Hynds and Elizabeth Henry Fazzino. She was the manager and permittee of the former Henry’s Restaurant in Ansonia for many years. Until her illness, she was an active member of the Southbury Baptist Church. 

She is survived by 2 loving daughters, Tammy Piccirillo and her wife Francesca D’Ambra and Shelli Chadwick of Seymour, a brother, James Ahearn of Seymour, 3 sisters, Jacqueline Zenkus of Seymour, Gail King of Plainville, and Robin Ahearn of Enfield, 5 grandchildren, Joseph DeGeorge, Brittany Chadwick, Taylor Chadwick, Mikol Stec and Noah Stec all of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 5:00 pm at Waterbury Baptist Ministries, 222 West Main Street in Waterbury.
