Betty H. Fenton, age 100, of Derby peacefully entered into rest on October 1st 2024 at Griffin Hospital. She was the devoted wife for 60 years of the late Charles H. Fenton, Sr. Betty was born in Fairfield, CT on September 23, 1924, daughter of the late Stephen and Vilma Pelikan Heiser, graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School in 1942. She retired as an executive secretary from Columbia Records after many years of service.
She lived in Trumbull, Cape Coral FL, and Shelton before moving to Derby for the final years of her life. She was predeceased by her beloved only son, Charles H. Fenton, Jr., two sisters Grace Page and Marion Waldman, and one brother Stephen Heiser. She is survived by 3 cherished grandsons Charles H. Fenton, III and his wife Amy of Atlanta, GA, Keith Fenton and husband Garin Wolf of Killingworth and Christopher Fenton of Desert Hot Springs, CA also two dear great-grandsons Chase and Aidan, a devoted daughter-in-law Sandra Auburn and her husband Daniel of Wolcott, CT and Sebastian, FL, several nieces and nephews and very special friends the Packnick family of Shelton.
