Carl W. Stenger, III

Carl W. Stenger, III, age 65, of Beacon Falls, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. 

He was a man of strong faith and devotion who loved God, loved his family, loved life and brought joy to all those who knew him. He was married to the love of his life Pamela A. (McLauchlan) Stenger for 42 years. 

Born in Bridgeport March 26, 1953, Carl was the son of Alice (Balish) Stenger and the late Carl Stenger Jr. 

Carl and Pamela lived in Shelton for 32 years before moving to Beacon Falls in 2013. He spent more than 40 years of his career as a hardworking and successful insurance broker, most recently with the John M. Glover Insurance agency. He loved sports, especially football and was an avid golfer. 

The beloved father of Kristin (Ryan) Parker and Ken (Jamy) Stenger. One of his greatest joys in life were his four grandchildren, Keane and Grace Parker and Cole and Ben Stenger. He is the brother of Robert (Debra), Tom (Marg), Rodger (Eeva), Barbara (John) Schmitt, Marcia Lafayette and the late Janice and James. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a wonderful friend. 

Family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life service on Saturday at 3pm at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield.
