Carlos A. Carvalho, age 69, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lidia (Vilaverde) Carvalho. Carlos was born in Portugal on December 19, 1955, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Carvalho. He immigrated to the United States 50 years ago and lived in Shelton for over 20 years.
He was an exceptionally hard working man who was a skilled builder. Carlos was always interested in the world around him and loved to read and stay up to date on current events. He was a simple man, loyal to his family and friends to the end.
He is the beloved father of Richard A. DeCarvalho and his wife Deven and the late Christopher A. DeCarvalho, and proud grandfather of Sophia, Carter, Charlee, and Liam. He is also survived by his loving partner of the past 14 years, Lucy Antunes.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
