Carmen Joseph “Rip” DeFelice Jr., 59, entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2012, in Coral Springs, FL.
He was the beloved husband of Karen O’Neill DeFelice.
Rip grew up in Derby and graduated from Derby High School in 1971. He was the president of U‑Haul Southern Florida.
Carmen was always warm and kind with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by two daughters, Kristen and Tiffany DeFelice of FL, his loving mother, Laura Marazzi DeFelice of Derby and a sister, April Callaghan and her husband Kevin.
He was predeceased by his father, Carmen Joseph “Rip” DeFelice Sr.
His funeral services were held in Florida. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, assisted the family with the local announcement.
