Carol A. Hayton, age 74, entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2020, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of fifty-four years to Wallace E. Hayton.
Carol was born in Bridgeport on April 13, 1946, daughter of the late Edward and Jean Roberts Woznick. A resident of Derby for forty-four years, she was employed in the Electrical Department at
Sikorsky Aircraft until her retirement. Carol loved to socialize and spend time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband Wallace, she leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Tricia Venice (Robert) of Cheshire and Jessica Hayton (Robert Sensale) of Wallingford, grandsons, Ryan and Mark Venice and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, June Nowell.
Per Carol’s request, a private visitation for immediate family will be held.
Inurnment in the family plot in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton will take place at the convenience of the family.
