Carol Ann Fasolo, age 81, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday, September 23, 2016. She was the devoted wife of the late George A. Fasolo. Carol was born in Torrington on November 12, 1934, daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Collins) Brothwell, and lived in Milford for most of her life.
She enjoyed reading, travelling, watching classic movies, and spending time with her many friends. Carol was also involved in the St. Joseph College Alumni Association. She loved to surround herself with her children and grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Kim Martin and her husband Jerry, Elizabeth Fasolo, Peter Fasolo and his wife Lauren, and Margaret Fasolo, and proud grandmother of Shawn Martin, Taylor Fasolo, and Alexander Fasolo. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her brother, Ted Brothwell.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 AM directly at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. Burial will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.
