Carol Forcier, 79 years old, wife of the late Rudy Forcier Sr. and former longtime Ansonia resident, currently of Seymour, entered into eternal rest Jan. 2, 2019 at Griffin Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1939 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Charles & Helen Daly Lomme.
She was z graduate of Harding High School, Bridgeport, class of 1958.
Carol worked as a Fair Housing Officer for The City of Ansonia and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Mark Forcier (AnnMarie) of Shelton, Charles “CJ” Forcier (Lynn) of Orange and Michael Forcier (former spouse Barbara) of Ashland, MA., five grandchildren, Jessica (Frett), Michael Jr., Paige, Katie, Haley and one great grandchild, Juliana, a niece Kelly and other devoted nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Rudy Forcier Jr. and her sister Linda Van Valkenburg. Friends may call on Friday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory should be made to Bishop Wicke Rehabilitation Center.
