Carole M. Urashka, 66, of Ansonia, beloved wife of Robert E. Urashka, unexpectedly entered into peaceful rest on Friday morning February 5, 2010 at the Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Mrs. Urashka was born in Milford on July 22, 1943 daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve Sobocinski Rafalowski. A resident of Ansonia for most of her life, Carole was extremely devoted to her loving family. She was more than a wife, mother, or grandmother, she was everyone’s best friend. Carole enjoyed cooking, especially new recipes, shopping, home decorating, playing Scrabble and visiting local vineyards and wine tastings with close friends.
Besides her husband Robert, she is survived by a son, Robert J. Urashka of Ansonia, a daughter Jeannie Botsko and her husband John of Milford, a sister Joan Dembek of Oxford, two cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Botsko and Ryan Botsko of Milford and several nieces and nephews.
