Carole M. Madgic, age 87, of Derby, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Madgic.
Carole was born in New York, on September 6, 1936, daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Warholic and was a Derby resident for most of her life.
Carole was a waitressed at the Oxford House for many years until becoming an insurance agent serving the valley community until her retirement. She was an active communicant at St. Mary Church and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Carole is the beloved mother of Linda Redding, Nancy Rollinson, David Madgic, Brian Madgic, Caryne Santore and Susan McDuffie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 11 am in St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St., Derby. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
