Catherine B. Baden, age 90, wife of the late Robert W. Baden and Ansonia resident entered into eternal rest July 3 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 21, 1921 in Cherry Valley, PA., daughter of the late Bartley & Magdalan Durbin McManus.
She was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church in Shelton, where she also served as a Deacon.
She was a wonderful baker and cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Shirley Tecci & her husband John and Lois J. Wildman, all of Ansonia, son Robert A. Baden & his wife Melvina of Harrisburg, PA, three brothers, William McManus of Ohio, & Bartley & Bernard McManus, both of PA., three sisters, Mary Jane Murray of Milford CT, Marie Budensky & Bernice McManus, both of Union Town PA., six grand children, twelve great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters & seven brothers. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m., with friends asked to go directly to The First Baptist Church , 235 Prindle Ave. Ansonia. Burial will follow in The Veterans’ Cemetery of Middletown.
