Catherine Sabo, age 92, of Shelton entered into rest on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Zoltan Sabo.
Mrs. Sabo was born in Derby, on April 3, 1921, daughter of the late Martin and Julia (Symbolic) Repka and was a lifelong Shelton resident. She and her husband owned and operated Sabo Auto Body in Seymour for 45 years.
Mrs. Sabo is the loving mother of Sharon Mocki and her husband Joseph and sister of Betty Pagano and her husband Frank. She is the beloved grandmother of Michele, Melissa, and Jennifer, great grandmother of Brittany, Joey and Hannah. Mrs. Sabo is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Arnold Repka and two sisters, Margaret Pepe and Florence Johnson.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Thursday, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m in St. Margaret Mary Church. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery.
