Cecelia C. Marino

Cecelia C. Marino, 95, of Derby, entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2012, at Griffin Hospital. 

Mrs. Marino was born in Ansonia on July 17, 1916, daughter of the late Leon and Frances Kryzewski. A resident of Derby for many years, she was employed as a cook at St. Mary Church in Derby and later at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia until her retirement. 

She is survived by a son, Richard C. Marino of New Hampshire, three daughters, Shirley Willets of Ansonia, Patricia Tagliatela (Ralph) of West Haven, and Susan A. Santiago (Carlos) of Derby, with whom she made her home, 5 grandchildren, especially granddaughters and care givers, Marissa Santiago and Renee Segnatelli, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James Marino, her former husband, Carmen C. Marino, and several brothers and sisters. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday January 17, 2012, at 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. Visiting will take place on TUESDAY MORNING from 9:00 am until the service begins.
