Cecille T. Krystopik

Cecille T. Krystopik, 86, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2015, at Griffin Hospital.

Miss Krystopik was born in Stamford on June 17, 1928, daughter of the late Antoni and Pelagia Gorenska Krysztopik.

A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was employed as an executive secretary for Anaconda American Brass in Ansonia.

Following her retirement from American Brass, she attained her real estate license and was affiliated with Frank Hoinsky Real Estate. Later, she went on to work as an executive secretary at Rhone-Pollanc Co. in Westport until her final retirement.

A devoted long-time communicant of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia, she was the founder and member in charge at St. Joseph Marathon Bingo at Warsaw Park for 25 years. At St. Joseph, she was a member of the Women’s Guild, Polish Falcons, St. Cecilia’s Choir and received the St. Joseph’s Medal from the Archdiocese of Hartford for dedication to her church.

A gentle caring woman, family and her church meant everything to her. Ceil was gracious and kind, frequently thinking of others.

She is survived by devoted nieces and nephews, Gloria McKie and Charlene Burns (Cliff) of Ansonia and Chris Hoinsky (Nancy) and Frank Hoinsky (Jacqueline) of Milford, several great nieces and nephews, 4 great great nieces and nephews, Godson, Paul Kristopik (Theresa) of Orange and many friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Frank, Florian, Leonard and Edward Krystopik, sisters, Florence K. Hoinski and Mary R. Krystopik and a nephew Raymond Hoinsky. 

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2015, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Wednesday, her funeral will be held at 9:45 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church in Ansonia. Springtime burial will take place in the family plot St. Michael Cemetery in Derby.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ceil’s memory may be made to St. Joseph Church toward the purchase of a new Marathon Bingo Machine.
