Charles M. Leigh, 80, of Derby, passed away May 27, 2013.
He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Downing Leigh.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory a daughter Beverly Menosky of Milford, grandchildren, Katie Menosky of Ohio, Allison Leigh of California, Kurt Menosky of Milford, a brother David Leigh (Elizabeth) of Wallingford and sister-in-law Patti Downing of Southington. He was predeceased by his son Robert Leigh.
Charlie touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, a kind and witty man, a gentleman and a scholar. He will be deeply missed by so many people, and yet each of them will find joy in their memories of him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15th at the First Congregational Church of Ansonia, 44 South Cliff St. Ansonia, CT 06401 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to The First Congregational Church of Ansonia or to the charity of one’s choice.
