Charles Thomas, a 76 year old Naugatuck, CT resident, entered into eternal rest Aug. 27.
He was born in Derby Sept. 14, 1939 son of the late Charles & Nellie Wendolowski Thomas.
Charles worked as a mechanic for Sikorsky aircraft in Stratford and was an avid traveler and a fan of the horse races.
He leaves his children Mark Thomas of Oxford & Karin Moriarty of Seymour, grandchildren Paul Thomas of East Haven, Sarah Moriarty of Hamden, Justin Thomas of Oxford, nephews Richard & James Zdrowski and niece Barbara O’ Grodnick. He was predeceased by siblings Ronald “Red” Thomas & Evelyn Zdrowski.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Sept. 1 at 6:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Friends may call 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
