Charlotte Buckley, age 88, wife of the late William Buckley Jr. and Derby resident, passed away May 20.
She was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Chicago, daughter of the late Charles & Alma Milbrandt Malwitz.
A graduate of St. Raphael’s School of Nursing, she later worked for the hospital as well as Gardner Heights in Shelton.
She leaves her son, William Buckley III (Amy) of Shelton, daughter Tracy Buckley of Derby, grandchildren Shaina, Shannon, Nathan, Ian & Ethan Buckley, and many nieces & nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 23 from 12 NOON to 1:30 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Prayer services will begin with Father Kvedas at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
