Christina A. Lynk, age 62, entered eternal rest on October 16, 2023, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, with her loving family by her bedside. She was the loving daughter of Marian Baran Lynk (Walter Ptak) of Derby and the late William M. Lynk Sr.
Christina was born in Derby on December 3, 1960. A resident of Derby for most of her life, she was employed as a waitress and bartender at the former State Diner in Ansonia and the former Aldario’s in Milford, jobs she truly enjoyed. Christina was very social and enjoyed talking to people and meeting new friends. There was never a lighthouse that did not interest her. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she looked forward each year to all the lights, decorations and get togethers. She will lovingly be missed by all.
In addition to her mother Marian, Christina leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Christopher M. Rusinik of Ansonia, brothers, William M. Lynk Jr. of FL, James J. “Jay” Lynk of Seymour, and Jeffrey J. Lynk of Derby, a sister, Theresa McCarthy of Bridgeport, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Lynk and a sister, Lori Ann Lynk.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
