Christina Kosko, age 40, of Seymour, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Griffin Hospital Cancer Center.
She is the devoted wife of James Kosko.
Christina was born in Derby on September 27, 1972 daughter of the late Francis P. and Arlene (Birdsell) Lepri and was a Seymour resident for most of her life.
She was a food service employee for the United Methodist Homes of the State of Connecticut in Shelton for 25 years. Christina’s family would like to thank all the people who cared for and supported Christina during her illness.
She is survived by her loving son, Jacob Kosko, stepson, John Kosko, sisters, Dorothy Jordan(Art), Margaret Lepri, nieces and nephews, Felicia, Arlene, Justin, Francis and Hector and several aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Lepri.
Friends may call on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road in Shelton.
A funeral service will follow on Friday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
On Saturday, a graveside service will be celebrated at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery 219 New Haven Ave. Derby at 11 a.m.
