Christopher Lee Papp, age 38, a lifelong resident of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, Mayl 14, 2013 at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
He is the beloved son of Robert and Linda (Cornet) Papp of Shelton. Christopher was born in Bridgeport on August 27, 1974.
He was a graduate of Shelton HS Class of ‘92, and worked as a DJ for Music in Motion Entertainment in Seymour. Christopher was an avid fisherman and loved to fish on the river year round. He actively helped in the Housatonic River cleanup, and was a volunteer music engineer at the the Webb Mountain Park Benefit Concert Jamboree in Monroe. Christopher loved children.
Christopher always wanting to help others was an organ donor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his soulmate, Edyta (Dee) Przybylko, his brother, Glenn Papp and his wife Patricia, his paternal grandmother Ethel Papp, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including David Cornet who was like a brother to him.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday from 3 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 PM at the funeral home, officiated by the New Life Church Trumbull.
