Clara Hanley, age 91, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday Nov. 24, 2018 in her home.
Clara was the devoted wife of the late Alton Hanley. She was born in Oakville, CT on October 10, 1927 daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Mijkas) Symonovich and was a resident of Shelton for most of her life.
Clara was very supportive of her husband police career attending many functions and activities with him. She loved to dance with Alton, travel with her sister Nellie and always loved a good laugh.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Bronislaw Symonovich, Edmond Symons, John Symonovich and one sister who she lived with Nellie Symonovich.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am directly at her graveside in Riverside Cemetery, River Rd. Shelton.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton are entrusted with the arrangements.
