Clement J. Angelucci, age 74, entered peaceful rest on Saturday morning, March 18, 2023, in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of fifty years to Barbara R. (Amico) Angelucci.
Clem was born in Derby on August 5, 1948, son of the late Louis Angelucci Sr. and Lillian Francione Angelucci. He graduated from Ansonia High School in 1966, where he excelled in running track and went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University. Clem began his working career at the former BF Goodrich in Shelton and retired as finance manager for the Black Hawk Program at Sikorsky Aircraft after twenty-six years. Clem enjoyed tinkering and working outside ensuring his home was impeccably maintained. He and Barbara enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida and traveling, especially to Cape Cod and Maine. Clem, a complete gentleman, deeply cared for others and there was never a holiday (or any other day) that you were not welcome in his home. Although never having children, he considered and treated his nieces and nephews like his own.
In addition to his wife Barbara, he leaves to cherish his memory, a brother, Louis Angelucci Jr. (Barbara) of Ansonia, a sister, Barbara A. Angelucci of Bradenton, FL, nieces and nephews, Louis Angelucci (Lisa) of CA, Stephen Angelucci (Darlene) of Seymour, Robert Falkowski (Katie) of North Haven, David Falkowski (Theresa) of Ansonia, Cynthia Carone of Ansonia and Kristen DellaVolpe of Seymour, great-nieces and great-nephews, Elaina Angelucci, Molly, Margaret, Noah and Victor Falkowski, Michael Strom and Alex Housemann as well as many cousins and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Clem’s funeral on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Per Clem’s request, there will be no visiting hours and his burial will be private. Contributions in his memory can be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center, 350 Seymour Ave., Suite 6, Derby, CT 06418 or to the charity of one’s choice.
