Concetta (Jennie) Carriero, age 97, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday November 16, 2013 in the Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Carriero, Sr.
Mrs. Carriero, was born in Derby November 25, 1915 daughter of the late John and Lucy Viggiano. She was employed at the former Roberk Company, and the for Shelton Shirt Shop. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She is the beloved mother of Anthony Carriero, Jr. , and Vincent Carriero. and the late Rosann Carriero. She is the loving sister of Rose Spiteri. She is the cherished grandmother of Megan Carriero, and Christine Dechello, adoring great grandmother of David Adams, Ashley Adams and also leaves her precious great-great granddaughter Madison. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may greet her family on Tuesday from 3 to 6 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton.
